MEAGRE TO MILLIONAIRE – IPL CHANGES THE LIFE OF INDIAN CRICKETERS

To hear or read an inspirational stories are the most pleasing and motivational part of a person’s life. An inspirational story, especially the poor to riches stories which are always motivational. These rousing stories are in great demand nowadays. Reaching the heights of triumph is not an easy task. Concentrated hard work, struggles, and endless efforts are all that is required to achieve victory. Here are few Indian cricketers who totally changed their life after the selection of IPL (Indian Premium League).

NATHU SINGH


21-year-old Nathu Singh, whose father is a factory worker in Jaipur. His life wasn’t luxuries, he had to suffer for good cloth and living style. In 2015-16 fortune played the best role in Nathu’s selection. Rajasthan’s first-choice bowler Pankaj Singh was injured in the first-round match of the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy. Nathu Singh then achieved to generate imposing step on a flat Jaipur track.
He was bought by IPL franchise Mumbai Indians at the auction at Rs. 3.2 crores.
Nathu Singh was an honestly unknown name in cricket, but with his entry into the IPL. Now he is able to change his life completely.

UMESH YADAV


Umesh Kumar Tilak Yadav is a right arm fast-medium bowler. He is a mine worker’s son who grew up in poverty in Walani near Nagpur, Maharashtra.  Umesh’s meeting with cricket began like any other Indian child, with tennis ball cricket.
Yadav’s striking performances and with a reputation of holding rare pace. In 2011 IPL auction, Delhi Daredevils bought Yadav for $750,000 (approx. Rs 3.5 crore).
In the IPL-7 auction, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought him for Rs 2.60 crore. Umesh had bagged 43 wickets in 47 IPL matches. His selection to the Indian team also followed his good performances in the IPL.
