They are hardworking and stylish. They are the Indian cricketers! They are master in their work and win everyone’s appreciations, they know the numbers of runs they scored and the balls they bowled. Do you think they were also as good in studies? Let’s take a short tour of Indian cricketers and their educational qualification:

VIRAT KOHLI:

He started his schooling at Vishal Bharti Public School and in ninth grade, he moved to Savier Convent in Paschim Vihar to develop his cricket practice. He completed 12th from there and was a very talented student.

MS DHONI:

One of our nation’s pride and excellent player/captain of Indian cricket team. He doesn’t do much more than the 10th standards before joining cricket. He had an interest in education, so he completed his 12th standard and also enrolled himself in St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai for B.Com degree.

YUVRAJ SINGH:

Yuvraj, the champion skater during his schooldays. He studied up to 12th from DAV Public School after that his father got him into cricket.

SHIKHAR DHAWAN:

Shikhar Dhawan successfully completed his high school studies before joining the national team.

STUART BINNY:

Binny attended his middle schooling in The Frank Anthony Public School. Later he joined St. Josephs Indian High School for high school studies, where his father Roger Binny was the sports coach.

VIRENDER SEHWAG:

The powerful opener of Indian cricket team joined Jamia Milia Islamia University and completed his graduation before stepping into cricket.

RAHUL DRAVID:

Dravid completed his schooling at St. Joseph’s High School, Bangalore. He got his degree in commerce from St. Joseph’s college of commerce. When Jammy was studying MBA in St. Joseph’s college of Business Administration he got a call from Indian National Cricket team and he had to leave the masters in midway.

 

ZAHEER KHAN:

He completed his high schools in Srirampur, then moved on to join engineering. He was a bright student but had to leave his degree to give more focus on cricket.

SOURAV GANGULY:

The Dada of Indian cricket completed his bachelor’s degree in commerce from the prestigious St. Xavier’s College. He was later awarded the honorary Ph.D.

SACHIN TENDULKAR:

As we know he focused on cricket from a very early age. He studied till 10th standards from Shardashram Vidyamandir.

We made their education qualification list, some of highly educated and some of not that much but we proud of them all because they represent our nation extraordinary through their hard work and playing skill. So, we believe they are our nation’s pride with the unusual talent they hold in the game of cricket.
